Privacy Policy
AlphaToZed, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the mobile application Blocks Buster (the “Game”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent gaming experience. This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you play Blocks Buster.
By downloading, accessing, or playing Blocks Buster, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the Game.
1. Information We Collect and Process
Blocks Buster is designed to minimize direct personal data collection. We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name or email address to play the Game. However, to provide gameplay functionalities and serve advertisements, certain data is processed as outlined below:
A. Local Storage (AsyncStorage)
To ensure your progress is saved, the Game utilizes local device storage (via AsyncStorage or similar local storage mechanics). The following data is saved entirely on your device:
- High scores, game levels completed, and progression metrics.
- In-game currency, boosters, and unlocked power-ups.
- User configurations and game settings (e.g., sound effects, music preferences, custom layout selections).
Note: This data remains local to your device and is not synchronized with or transmitted to external servers controlled by AlphaToZed, LLC.
B. Optional Photo Library Access
The Game offers an optional feature allowing you to customize your gameplay background. If you choose to use this feature:
- The Game will request permission to access your device’s Photo Library or Gallery.
- The selected image is used strictly within the application to render your custom background.
- We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos on any external servers. Your photos never leave your device.
2. Advertising and Analytics Third-Party Partners
To keep Blocks Buster available as a free-to-play game, we integrate third-party advertising networks to deliver in-game advertisements. These partners may collect and process device identifiers to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and deliver personalized ads.
Our primary advertising partner is Google AdMob, and we may optionally utilize AppLovin. These third-party networks may automatically collect and process certain information from your device, including:
- IP address, device make, model, operating system, language settings, and mobile carrier.
- Unique advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Android’s Advertising ID / GAID).
- Ad interaction data (e.g., views, clicks, video completion rates, and in-app events triggered by ad views).
Third-Party Privacy Frameworks: You can learn more about how our ad providers handle your data by reviewing their official privacy statements:
- Google AdMob Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AppLovin Privacy Policy: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
3. iOS Apple Transparency Framework (ATT) & Personalized Ads
For users playing Blocks Buster on iOS devices, we strictly adhere to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
- Upon launching the Game for the first time on iOS, you will be presented with a prompt asking for permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.
- If you select “Allow”, our third-party advertising partners (AdMob / AppLovin) will utilize your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) to serve personalized, relevant advertisements tailored to your interests.
- If you select “Ask App Not to Track”, the Game will completely block access to your IDFA. Advertisements will still be displayed, but they will be non-personalized (contextual), based solely on the nature of the Game rather than your specific browsing habits.
- You can change your tracking preferences at any time by navigating to your iOS device settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
4. Children’s Privacy
Blocks Buster does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). If we discover that any limited personal identifiers from a child have been inadvertently processed without verified parental consent, we will take immediate steps to restrict processing or purge the data from our third-party SDK channels.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because all gameplay data (scores, settings, boosters) is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over it. Deleting or uninstalling the Game from your device will permanently erase all local data, settings, and progression history.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will notify you of any amendments by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we safeguard your information.
